Tokki-san sugoooii...

I've just read Tokki's post about Nino as an actor and it's just...(speechless)

Let me be honest. when I first know Arashi, I only have eyes for Sho-kun and his big Keio title (rarely among idols) and refer to nino simply as "Sho's little brother".

that changed completely when I watched "Stand Up!". I'm not an expert, but I think I know good act when I see it, and I just thought "He is going to explode someday". then I see "Ao no Honoo" and thought "ok...just a little bit more...hang on there" and BAM! goes Iwojima kara no tegami.

Nino is pure genius. That kind of act won't come up no matter how hard you try if you have no pure talent. (sobs for Sho-kun). But I don't know he can be that serious. I thought he could concentrate 100% only on game and captain.

That post about Nino as an actor and an idol really reflect what I love about Arashi as a whole.

How can I say this correctly... they worked hard to make an existence for us to love. Personally, I think that's what idols do. But in Arashi's case, dunno if they done it purposely or not, they succeed to make an existence not only to love, but also to look up to.

I remember seeing captain's dances and smiles in Iza now, it's like he said "人生はこんな幸せなものですよ。頑張って生きてるときっとこんな幸せに会えるんでしょう。”.(i don't know how to express it right in english). It's only my own interpretation, but really, after saw Iza, I want to have my own happiness, to find something that would fueled me for 100 years and more.

 

He call him "Clint"!

Yesterday in Tensai Doubutsuen:

(the guests are given hints and they have to raise hand and guess who the special guest is. they can ask question to get more hints too. some guests has guessed it right.)

another hint : she likes cats

Aiba : Lilico.

host : janai (not her)

another hint : I've gone to a filming place with Aiba once.

Aiba : A! A! (raising hand eagerly and smiling like he remember something)

everyone : Aiba seems to got it...

host : hai, Aiba!

Aiba : Shitsumon! (Question! / Can I ask?)

everyone : ?! (fell from their chairs)

 

aiba-chan, how can you have a twelve year old boy in your body?

 

and this morning I see Nino in butai aisatsu with casts of Iwojima kara no tegami and Clint Easwood.

Nino is (like always) super cute in suit and when they stand together for photo session, Clint said something to him and he answered and Clint seems to understand (I wonder if Nino had mastered english to some level during his shoots in America). even the newscasters seems amazed, they say "Isn't it great to be able to talk casually with Clint Eastwood?.

In formal talk, Nino said something his filming experience with Clint (he refer to him  as "Clint") and about Arashi would have a concert in tokyo and osaka and Clint said "I want to go and sing together". Nino laugh and said "of course if there's chance!". the newscasters "he call him Clint!"

I think people in other countries that see Nino for the first time in Iwojima kara no tegami would be surprised to see him in daily life. I'm 100% sure they would think like "ee...that CUTE KID is that soldier?!"

Until now, I only see the trailer, but I had already agree that Nino is doing GREAT! there's something in his eyes about sorrow and fear and everything in between. I can't wait to see the movie even if I'm sure I would sob a lot.

動機

I really really want to go to Arashi Summer Concert 2007 (if it exists). My biggest fear is that it doesn't exist.

I mean, they're busy travelling all around the globe (Asia globe) and having solo project and dramas and tv shows, and I'll end up killing myself if they don't have any summer concert.

I'll be in Japan for only one year. one short year, no, it's only ten months now. And even if they have concert, I know nothing about how to get the concert tickets. Everyone in Japan that I know, none of them interested in Johnny's. One of my friend's dormitory friend, when he knew I want to go to Nagoya's Johnny's shop, he said "やめた方がいい”= "better not do it".

I heard the competition for the ticket is unbelieveably tight.

Anyway, something cross my mind just now.

Going to concert and buying all dvds and cds and photobooks and magazines and traveling to concerts or butai and everything in between don't come cheap.

To make it worse, not only am I poor, I have an unlimited desire to shop and still have to do treatment for my  face.

The most reasonable solution is to have part time job.

To have part time job, I have to speak Japanese more fluently.

To speak fluently I have to study like hell.

I cannot study like that unless I have more space in my room.

Ok, I've found a motivation. I'll come home and clean my room. (so phlegmatic...)

I want to translate some of Arashi's thing too, wonder what is best? everything seems to had already been translated...

even hell is not so ばらばら

Have you ever wake up in the morning and look around your room and wondering what the hell had happened to your life?

That's precisely how I feel this morning. I believe that a room is a mirror to a person personality, and as far as I can see, my personality would soon buried in trash and used clothes.

I haven't got time to add any photos yet.

the journey

It's my second month in Japan. I've been dreaming about going to Japan for about six years and finally I'm here.

It's so overwhelming that now I can not see myself clearly and became very confused and stucked between having "the new me" and the pressure to not lose my country's identity.

If anyone ask me why I want to go to Japan, I could say 1000 lies even to myself, but sooner or later I have to admit that I am crazy for Arashi and coming all the way to see their concerts.

I am totally suck at staying up late, yet I fought every Monday night to catch a glimpse of Sho's News Zero and Arashi no Shukudai-kun. Usually the next morning I would get up late and late for my class and get kaminari (thunder) from my teacher.

I live by scholarship here so I have to becareful to make ends meet. Nevertheless, I went to see every single movie they have, or every movie that has a connection with them (like flags of our father)

There's nothing I wouldn't do for Arashi.

Sakurai Shou, Ninomiya Kazunari, Ohno Satoshi, Aiba Masaki, Matsumoto Jun.
