I read some blogs and forums that said Arashi no Shukudai-kun is boring. Well, I've seen it 3 times and I think it's fine. But it's because I understand Japanese. And apart from that, if the guest is the 'right' person, I think they'll crack a lot.
Probably the format of this program doesn't put Arashi in the center of the show, I mean, it's only 30 minutes (including commercials and video), and there're 7 persons in total. There's no way everyone could speak enough. Plus, of course they have to focus on the guest. Captain very rarely speak, unless someone asked him. He just lie there beside Nino, just to show that he exist. Nino is very fast to 'shoot' when the timing is right.
I am interested in Japan's entertainment world in general, so when someone I see a lot comes up in the show, I even tend to focus on the guest than our boys.
When I watched it, I only hope they invited interesting guest and then treat the show as a Japanese lesson. Oh, and screaming to my "lately become hotter than ever that made me worried is it because you found someone or anything" Sho kun.
On one side, it may sound weird, but I am happy that our boys get paid for sitting and talking casually and sometimes doing minor experiments. Maybe it can become some rest time for them than doing something heavy. though I hope captain would speak more.
On the other side, of course I would love to see them in one long show where everyone cracking nonstop. But I can wait.
I personally find it a bit boring >"< mostly bcos i don't understand what they're saying & there's not much interaction going on between the members. but i think it getting better now, eg: air soccer.
I missed GnoA T_T, at least i can understand their bakaness experiment / action back then.
