Smells Like A Hospital Ward

Some of you already know this : I`ve been in a living hell thanks to influenza type A and a MASSIVE sore throat.

Since then, I`m recovering well. Due to the stress and everything, a skin problem surfaced but I`ve got that covered too.

Lastly, I`m going to have a small surgery to fix my tongue-tie (ankyloglossia). The shortness of my lingual frenulum (the tissue that attaches the tongue to the bottom of the mouth) has never bothered me before, but thanks to the damn throat problem, seems like I coughed too much and made the lingual frenulum pulled the gum too hard until it looks like the gum is going to separate from my teeth.

In short, it feels damn weird.

It`s going to be a small surgery. Nevertheless, I despise anything that robbed me the joy of eating now that I have my tastebuds back. Plus, my holiday plan is a mess now.

Any of you who got ankyloglossia too, just cut it. When I was a child, mommy took me to the doctor to cut it, but we both chickened out at the last moment and chose not to do it, since, hey, I still can talk and that`s all that matters.

Now I can`t wait to cut the damn thing.

I never thought it would get THAT messy.
Sure, it's just a small surgery, but it's a surgery nevertheless. I don't like the sound of the word >___<

On a brighter note...you got to be on a diet (unplanned, but still a diet) now! *sure, things come when you least wanted it xD*
