I've never leave Indonesia before I came to Japan, and talk about how Indonesian am I, it reflects perfectly in the way I could'nt stand cold.
While many Japanese still think it's not very cold for (almost) December, I already use electric carpet and electric blanket. Even my Japanese teacher in Indonesia got worry about me. She's Japanese and she knows how bad winter can be for a first time Indonesian.
It's funny that I used to complain about Indonesia's hot weather. But that means I had reached one of my goal.
One of my goal in living in Japan is to realize the near things I won't see clearly in my country. How much I love warm weather, how important it is to wake up in the morning and smell mother's cook, how I miss my brother, to know that my father with his "just do what you like in life and don't miss any chance and don't look back" is really the best father I could ever have, and mother...the way she's everything for me, what else could I say about mother?
I came here to see those things clearly, to cherish them as much as I can, to treasure them in my heart since I know it will end someday. the bird is learning to fly and the warmth of its nest gives all the courage it needs.
*******
anyway...
in yesterday's Utawara:
the guest is Gospellers ( I like them) and one of them was questioned what does 'woman' means to him, and he said "winner", in a way that in a relationship, woman will always be the winner, it is after he sail the white flag that the relationship can begin. (I love this answer)
host : Matsujun, what does 'girl/woman' means to you?
Jun : kyouzai (teaching experience), cause I felt being taught a lot by them.
other guest : I wonder what they teach you...
and...probably it's just me, but Jun gave such an ecchi smile there.
If only the same question being asked to all Arashi, what would they say...?
Thanks to add me ^^
ne ne, can you do screencaps of that moment? i wanna see the echii smile xDDDDD

I go to university in Australia and I feel the same way about the weather too! When I'm in Singapore I complain all the time about the heat and then when I am over there, I really can't stand the cold.
And by the time Autumn comes around, I'm already decked out in my Winter gear although some of the girls there still wear short skirts (do they not feel cold??!?!) lol.
How long will you be in Japan for before you go back? I first went to Australia to study nearly 3 years ago but I still get homesick. "-_- But I agree, the experience of being away from home is a precious one that will be remembered and cherished forever.

"some of the girls there still wear short skirts (do they not feel cold??!?!) lol."
hahaha, actually i had that thought too, so one day i asked my friends who like to wear mini skirts on winter.
ohhh, trust me, they're feeling the cold!! it's all in the name of fashion and give more excuses to drink ^^
hopefully when they reach 50, they don't suffer from rheumatism >"<
